James Austin
Designer

James graduated in Graphic Communications in 2005 and then worked in a small creative agency for 3 years on various consumer brands including Ideal Standard, Armitage Shanks, Lombok, Virgin Vie and Sweaty Betty.
James came to dnx looking for a new challenge and purpose, with a desire to design things that are functional as well as aesthetic.
If he weren't working in Marketing, he would either be a traffic cop (boo, hiss) or a rally driver, but both for the same reasons: to drive as fast as he wants!
Outside work, James enjoys photography, playing computer games and watching his massive DVD collection of movies and serial dramas like '24' (Jack Bauer is his hero). Being a big footie fan, and having a competitive nature, James is addicted to his fantasy football teams, but admits his own sporting prowess only extends to playing golf badly!
James hasn't had a strange job (until now) but he once worked in a Solicitors' archive department, moving thousands of files from one shelf to another. What a way to spend a summer!
