Keith Povey
Account Manager

For Keith, Marketing has been a constant thread running through his education from GCSE to degree, so when it came to making his career choice, Keith didn't need to roll dice or flip a coin.
Keith joined IBM as a student, where he was seriously bitten by the Marketing bug. There, he covered diverse aspects of Marketing, from hosting events at Wimbledon to merchandising, collateral design and promotions at the CBI dinner.
Keith always harboured dreams of being a novelist or a journalist but acknowledges his more realistic aspirations would be teaching or working as a fitness instructor.
Outside work, he's a bit of a gym junkie, so we know who to call if any heavy boxes need shifting! He loves football (watching and playing) but his passion, nay obsession, is poker. A keen player online, amongst friends and in a competitive league, he has the slightly dubious moniker of "Texas Hold Me" - perhaps "Big Hands" Becky should give him a run for his money!
Keith's strangest job was being assigned to the Customer Service desk at Marks & Sparks, which involved dealing with questionable reasons for return and handling soiled items, including undercrackers brought back by the over-70s. Speaking of questionable undergarments, Keith once walked down Guildford High Street wearing Borat's man-thong for Comic Relief, commendably raising money and eyebrows if not temperatures or libidos!
