Unsure of what to do with her Psychology degree, Kirsty found herself trawling through a local paper where she spotted a vacancy in an advertising agency for an Account Executive. As fate would have it, Kirsty was snapped up by Communication Solutions as a trainee and emerged two years later as a fully-fledged Account Manager.
There, Kirsty worked with a wide range of clients chiefly spanning the financial, travel and charity sectors, serving her apprenticeship on the Lloyds TSB Insurance account and getting to grips with American Express. With a passion for travel and the finer things in life, Kirsty particularly enjoyed working on far-flung tour operator brands, including Simply Travel, Explore Worldwide and Kuoni. She also gained some less exotic but equally valid B2B telecoms experience working on NTT Europe Online.
If she weren’t in Marketing, Kirsty would be a travel journalist, documenting her jet-setting exploits in unusual and glamorous locations (assuming Albury doesn’t fulfil that urge, of course).
The strangest job Kirsty has ever done involved chaperoning very realistic Sharon and Ozzy Osborne lookalikes around London and being mobbed by fans who thought they were the genuine article.
