Shalini graduated from university with a Film, TV and Radio and Business Studies degree – a course that included a number of marketing modules.
After a stint in a PR agency organising events and managing projects across Europe, Shalini spent two years working in video production with clients including Eurofighter GmbH, BAE Systems and RAF. She was credited as Production Manager on the Royal Air Force of Oman’s 50th Anniversary documentary, which involved organising a two week film shoot in Oman with a specialist crew of five.
If she wasn’t in marketing she would love to work with horses or even be a professional rider! Horses are one of Shalini’s passions and she once competed in a show-jumping event at the New Forest County Show in front of Princess Anne.
Out of work Shalini spends her time horse riding, yoga, gym, eating out and making her boyfriend do DIY around the house. Whilst at college, she worked on the news desk at 96.4 Eagle which involved walking around Guildford with a microphone getting in the way of people trying to get to work.
She’s also been an extra in corporate videos, including driving around in a MINI for a video news release….
