A word from our prophet...
It seems our Drew is becoming something of an industry pundit, with commentary in B2B Magazine, Precision Marketing and more recently, an observation in the Telegraph about a forthcoming warm front that came true in ways he never imagined...!

You really can "WebEx Anywhere"!
Reducing the need to travel to meetings, whether by road, rail or air, can have a big impact on a company's CO2 output. We took to the streets of London to demonstrate how meeting online using collaboration tools from WebEx can reduce unnecessary transport emissions. All you need is a phone and an internet browser to work with anyone in the world - without having to leave your desk.
Armed with wi-fi laptops and huge green and blue WebEx-branded beanbags, our teams were scrambled to Liverpool Street station, London Bridge station, Canary Wharf and Golden Square, where they demonstrated how easy and efficient online meetings can be - anywhere! The event was a huge success, drawing attention to the ecological impact of business travel and generating significant interest in WebEx.

And our survey said...
Permission-based email marketing aims to establish a 'handshake' between the sender and the recipient. If you get it right, your customers should look forward to hearing from you!
We created two email-based questionnaires for Blacks and Millets to enable them to get to know their customers' wants, needs and outdoor leisure interests a little better. With a healthy 7% response rate, this new data can inform our direction with affiliate partners such as VisitScotland and Responsible Travel, and enables us to tailor future campaigns to meet more customers' needs, more of the time.
Our client has been so pleased with the results that they're adding the questionnaire to their sign-up process for new subscribers and will be repeating the survey in November to encourage non-respondents. |

Offering listeners a downloadable nugget of your expertise is a great way to showcase your know-how, educate prospective customers and give people a reason to find out more about what you can do for them. Podcasts also convey your message by voice - a medium that's much more personal than a printed brochure or a web page.
We recently created a series of podcasts for Business Objects. Keith Povey, Account Manager, explains: "The secret to a successful podcast is to keep the script tight and ensure that it's information your audience wants to hear - not what you might want to say. And it shouldn't be intrusive - people must able to listen to it in the background while doing something else."
There's no doubt that podcasting offers attractive possibilities to both B2B and B2C marketers to connect with their prospects and customers, deepen their relationship with them and broaden their business reach. |

Yes Chef!
In July, we all spent a day away from the barn brushing up our culinary skills at a cookery school in London, with hilarious (and vaguely edible) consequences! We may not be Michelin-starred, but if you ever need someone to make a scale replica of Tower Bridge out of spring onions, we're the agency for the job!

In the spotlight...
Artworker Kandy Boulden was bitten by the creative bug aged 8, when she became fascinated by the knowledge that it was someone's job to design everyday things like cereal packets. Her favourite book is "How to be a Graphic Designer without losing your soul".
Kandy enjoys working in the relaxed atmosphere of the studio, affectionately known as the "potting shed", where she juggles multiple jobs for our diverse range of clients and where the creative team also act as the "listening department" for account handlers who need to let off steam!
When she's not slaving over a hot Mac, Kandy's an ice hockey aficionado, an interest which takes her all over the world. Closer to home, she's also campaigning to save Albury Post Office from closure – a cause dear to all our hearts, especially Nic, our Office Manager! |
