Talking of awards, we’re helping Cisco Webex and LinkedIn launch some new ones. As the second part of our WebEx Pass the Ball campaign, we suggested to LinkedIn (the business networking site) that they go into partnership with Cisco WebEx and create their first ever Business Awards. And they said yes!
The LinkedIn European Business Awards in association with Cisco WebEx online collaboration aim to recognise exceptional business success on a personal and business level and, in true Webex style, will be celebrating innovation, collaboration and the power of working together.
The awards are open to every member of LinkedIn who is based in Europe, there is no charge to enter and you can nominate anyone, including yourself, for an award.
The whole six month programme will be run online, with the final awards presentation being staged in April 2010 via a live Cisco WebEx.
You can also keep up to date with the Awards progress, network with the nominees and discuss award entries by joining the LinkedIn group.
