Last Thursday, six intrepid members of the dnx team set off on the first of a series of team bonding exercises. Under the watchful eye of skippers Tim and Drew, they spent 24 hours sailing in the Solent, spending the night aboard ‘Aquila’ in Cowes, Isle of Wight.
In true nautical style, the expedition involved plenty of blue and white striped attire, lots of singing and, after the sun was past the yard arm, copious amounts of rum! (Oh and, of course, a bit of sailing.) Tim and Drew showed everyone the sheets, the halliards, emergency procedures and the whole team had a fantastic time ‘tacking’, ‘jibing’ and remembering to duck when the boom swung across.
Once they’d arrived back at Gosport, the first batch of shipmates were ‘all hands on deck’ (quite literally) to ensure the vessel was shipshape for the next lot of eager seafarers. The question is, will the Isle of Wight be ready for more of dnx’s karaoke? We fear not.
The guys in the studio had a lot of fun doctoring this photo which the crew sent back to the barn. See if you can spot all the differences!

Zola's our Rhodesian Ridgeback who cruises our barn from 9 to 5. We fitted her with a webcam to find out what she really gets up to.
