Data storage is not only an ever expanding problem, it’s one that spans across all markets and sectors. Sun Microsystems developed the industry’s first range of open storage appliances to expand their reach into the market. After launching Open Storage with a ‘big bang’ (raising interest amongst users and eyebrows industry –wide), we were charged with the task of producing a campaign to maintain momentum and establish the brand more firmly in the market.
We developed a simple series of 3 targeted emails, each focusing on one of the key benefits of Open Storage – openness, innovation and cost-effectiveness. These fed through to a multi-level landing page extolling the virtues of the process, inviting readers to download white papers and an interactive demo and offering a free 60 day trial.
The campaign has aroused interest worldwide and to date, has been translated into 13 different languages, including Turkish, Polish and Hebrew!
